Agnostic Front Reunion @ the Bellhouse, Brooklyn, NY
Agnostic Front has changed the face of music throughout their 25-year-long career and the Victim In Pain and United Blood records started it all. In celebration of these eminent re-releases, Agnostic Front will pay homage to where it all began with a headlining show on February 26th in NYC. Showcasing at The Bell House in Brooklyn, Agnostic Front will have their original 1984 lineup in tow - Roger Miret, Vinny Stigma, Rob Kabula, and Dave Jones. “We haven’t played together since ‘84, this is the CLASSIC lineup together again doing vintage AF songs and some classics. We couldn’t be more excited to do this!” said vocalist Roger Miret.
Bridge Nine Records recently re-released the seminal records United Blood and Victim In Pain this past November and Examiner.com said, “For those who missed the most exciting era of underground music, this is a chance to re-live the glory that was Agnostic Front.” With embossed covers, printed dust jackets and original inserts, these re-releases pay homage to two of the most influential hardcore albums of all time. Additionally, both albums are available together on CD format for the first time, which is a must-have item for all fans of punk and hardcore - AllMusic said it right, calling it “the ultimate document of the New York Hardcore scene”

MENTAL ABUSE BANNED IN NYC!!!!!!
Dave Jones of Mental Abuse has released the following statement:
“I was appalled and I resent the accusations (by ABC NO RIO) with the total being of my soul. I was hurt deeply by what ABC No Rio did to me. They told me to send them my lyrics prior to getting the show. They reviewed the lyrics and ok’ed them and gave us the show with the requirement that we make a flyer. I made the required flyers and they said they loved them please put them up. TWO WEEKS LATER they canned me from the show!”
This is what ABC NO RIO wrote to Mental Abuse:

due to the potentially sexist/ homophobic lyrics for sock woman , i regret to inform you that you are off the show. this is not negotiable - if lyric s can be construed this way, even if they are not meant to, it is grounds for not being able to play. sorry .
